Sarah Morgan is 23 years old and she is a recent graduate of Wesleyan University. She lives in the Bay Area in California and is preparing to apply to medical school. Sarah enjoys dancing and learning new languages like Spanish, Finnish, Croatian, Greek, and more!

Sarah joined S4V because its mission really spoke to her. She first learned about the organization through a friend and has come to really enjoy the sense of community and working for such a positive cause.

She is on the Communications team, which involves working with social media. She especially loves creating graphics and getting the chance to showcase the work S4V has accomplished, in a format that is readily seen, shared, and enjoyed.

She is greatly motivated by those around her, who continuously do good for the world. She strives to have a positive impact on others whenever possible, and S4V is an excellent motivator in that aspect.

Her dream job is in forensic pathology. She loves working in healthcare and learning about how the human body functions, while equally enjoying a good puzzle. Forensic pathology combines those concepts in a manner she finds quite interesting.

Sarah has had many accomplishments (too many to name!). She grew up training in dance for several hours each day, and her team ultimately won National competitions and got recruited for America’s Got Talent Auditions, which was really exciting! After that, she accompanied the younger team and helped coach them during Jojo Siwa’s Dance Pop Revolution. She had a great time and met amazing people!

She finds herself frequently being inspired by a new person, whether that’s a friend, a coworker, or somebody she’s never met in person. Lately, she’s drawn inspiration from Halsey and their ability to find drive and determination during difficult times in her life, and continuing to push forward until creating a life that not only made her happy, but also created opportunities and hope for others. Halsey goes out of her way to do the greatest good for the greatest amount of people when possible, and that is what inspires Sarah the most.

In her free time, she likes to make music, play piano and cello, take and teach dance classes, and explore new cities! Her favorite song is Girl is a Gun by Halsey. Her quote or philosophy about life, is that oftentimes people are the main character in their own life story, and it is important to consider others’ perspectives.

Growing up, she always loved math, but she recently took courses in Ancient Greek and sociology, which she really enjoyed! Her favorite food is roasted vegetables with olive oil and spices. The fictional character that she resonates with the most is Abby Scuito from NCIS. Her favorite movie is The King’s Speech.
